About Us

The club was formed over 37 years ago and has been in successful operation ever since. It started life as a regional MG Car Club but diversified into a much greater range of cars with the change in club focus. The range of cars that members have owned is staggering and the range of events undertaken by its members over the years is breathtaking.
The history of the club has been celebrated with reunions for 10 , 20, 25 and recently 35 years of existence.
If you want to share your passion for motoring and the cars created to enjoy the challenging roads and scenery that we have in New Zealand then, PERHAPS we might be the right club to join.
We do our own stuff but also collaborate with other like-minded people in other car clubs to share activities. Please note that we are not constrained by car stuff but can use them to go to movies, go on boat trips, climb mountains, find local restaurants, visit museums and other places of interest.
Importantly your wife or partner automatically becomes a member when you join us. The involvement of family is important to us.
