This months car of the month is Derek T’s 1998 BMW Z3 Roadster
Derek has owned it for the last twelve years having purchased it from a gentleman in Napier while he was still living in Pahiatua. It is a genuine original car with a relatively low mileage just 89,000 kilometres.
It has been a reliable vehicle and in all the years of my ownership the only thing that has needed to be replaced is the coil pack.
Ideally though the rear plastic screen needs to be replaced so if anyone in the club can recommend someone that can do a professional job on this please let me know.
I also need to be replacing to front left driving light which has a crack in it and really I need to get around to sorting that out as well.
Will these cars become a classic; well there certainly seems to be a bit more interest in them and prices for good cars have seen a slight increase in prices over the last few years.
