Heritage Park Swap Meet And Car Show April 2026
Sunday 26 April – the annual Car Display and Swap Meet at Heritage Park Maunu

A not very good start for me! The Vitesse had developed a nasty cough and was going nowhere.
Then Pete rang to see if I would like to accompany him in his Jaaaagwa! Oh yes! Orf we went and
arrived at a very respectable hour of 9.30am. It looked very busy with a huge variety of cars, some
vintage but many American… but after a little maneuvering we had the Jag parked.
Dennis and his 2.5 Triumph and Keith with his Zephyr were there plus Grant McKenzie with his very
nice newly acquired ’46 Ford Coup. However, we soon spotted more Triumphs – TR7, TR6, TR4. –
We retired for a well-deserved cuppa and pie and then wandered round the Swap Meet bit.
A 1929 Austin T fabric saloon looked a treat ready for a little renovation and soon to be on the road.
There were many stalls with spare parts everywhere. A metal sculpture stall is worth a special
mention as the man very cleverly put together assorted bits of metal to form interesting figures.
With knees a bit achy we decided to leave – but still a worthwhile visit. M
