Daffodil Day Run 2026
Once again Pete R has provided a number of images taken at the Daffodil Run.
Hopefully someone how went on the run can provide a bit of an update as to how many club members and their cars supported the event.
Phil Scot provided this update by way of an email to the members.
It was a great day with a bigger turnout than expect, the weather was great and a great day was had by most.
Keys are starting to become a recurring theme as one member keys were not locked in the car but stuck in the car, the ending being it being brought back on a tow truck.
Hopefully no more key issues..
See below a thank you from VCC Chairman to all those who turned out for the Daffodil run on Sunday.
Hi Phil,
Thanks very much for organising an awesome turnout for the Daffodil Day run.
We had about 100 cars and 30 Motorcycles in Whangarei, and the car numbers had grown to about 115 in Dargaville, even though some people didn’t do the run.
It looks like we collected over $4000 in donations and sausage sales, so a pretty good result I think.
Please pass on our thanks to all CSCC members for their support.
Kind Regards
Ray
