The 2025 Waipu Lions Car and Bike Show was extremely well patronised with over 1000 cars with many having to be turned away as the Caledonian Grounds were packed to capacity. Unsure just how many bikes there were but certainly looked to be many more than last year.
I understand that just under $40,000 was raised at the event with a significant donation going to the Northland Emergency Services Trust.
Let hope we never have to avail ourselves of their wonderful service
We can be very proud of our club as we won the best club display in show and with 21 (twenty-one) of our cars on display it was a great turnout.
